Mumford and Sons was positively amazing, and I'm so happy I got to see them live. It was well worth the hassle of getting the tickets and driving there. We were down in General Admission which was great because we could weave our way back and forth depending on how into the song we were. For the encore Bobby and I made a pact that if a certain song played I would go on his shoulders--it did. I felt a little big obnoxious, and I'm sure the people behind me hated it, but it was the most amazing view.
The drive back started out ok, we were about 1 hour 45 min away from Richmond. Then, out of nowhere, the worse traffic jam of my entire life. We moved one mile in one hour. The car was in park for most of it, and at times we even turned off the engine. They somehow thought it would be a good idea to turn a 4-lane highway into a 1-lane highway on I-95... crazy talk. We ended up not getting home until about 2:30am, when we left the concert at 11:45 and should have gotten home at 1:30. It was absolutely miserable. Although, at least I wasn't driving. That was nice.
I didn't go out the rest of the weekend, but I spent many a day shopping. I only bought one pair of white denim shorts for myself though, and that was it! I was mainly a shopping adviser, which was great because I got my fashion fix, but didn't go broke. And it let me start building my birthday list in my head. Wooo!
Today UVA organized a "Harlem Shake" video, which is the latest internet craze. It was infront of the Rotunda and pretty funny. I opted not to go because about 1,000 people went, and I was feeling a tad overwhelmed. It was on the local news channel tonight, which was also pretty cool. The rest of the night is just homework and reading catch up. I have my first Econ test on Tuesday, so we'll see how that goes.
